En mémoire du Capt. Joseph Jean-Guy Clarence LeBlanc (retired)

The death of Jean-Guy LeBlanc of Oromocto, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, March 1st, 2006. Born in Louiseville, PQ on May 8th, 1941. He was the son of the late Clarence and Regina (Thibeault) LeBlanc and the husband of Joan (Smith) LeBlanc.

John retired as Captain from the military in 1996 after serving over the years with Fort Garry Horse Regiment, the 12 ieme Regiment Blindé du Canada and finally with the Cadet Corp at CFB Gagetown.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Priscilla; one son, Robert LeBlanc (Robin Visscher), and daughter Lise LeBlanc and his darling granddaughter, Rachael LeBlanc all of Oromocto; his sister, Lise LeBlanc and his sister-in-law, Sharon Smith both of Montreal, PQ and many nieces and nephews.

Also predeceased by one sister, Jacqueline Diamond

Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, March 3rd, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church on Saturday, March 4th, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Keith Howlett will officiate. Interment will follow in the St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice.
